Quick Start Guide
Remove troublemakers with Jails or Jails+ within just a few minutes. This guide will walk you through the essential steps to remove troublemakers immediately
Step 1: Create your first jail
If you have the required permission or you're an admin, you can set a jail using the command:
/setjail [jail_name]
Place yourself at the desired jail location and run the command to establish a jail at your current position.
Step 2: Imprison a troublemaker
After creating a jail, you may want to imprison a troublemaker-because that's why you installed our plugin, right? You can do that by the command:
/jail [player_name] [jail] [reason]
Executing this command will instantly put the player into jail. This command can be executed via player or console.
Step 3: Releasing players from prison
After imprisoning some troublemakers, you may or may not feel a bit of sympathy. If you do.... great! You can release a player from prison using the command:
/unjail [jailed_player_name]
Executing this command will instantly release a player from prison. Feeling sympathy for the helpless is always great!
Step 4: Security by defining Flags
After all of that, you might want to add some extra security. You can do that by first getting a selection wand to define flags. To get that wand, use:
/jailwand
Then, left‑click one corner of your prison to mark the first point, then right‑click the opposite corner to mark the second point. That creates your selection area, which you can then turn into a flag.
After creating your selection area, you can turn it into a flag by using the command:
/setflag [flag_name]
This will create a flag. By creating a flag, your prison now has-
Escape detections
Escape punishments
Sorrow for the prisoner in that prison
