Storage System

The BuildersWand storage system allows you to keep your most-used building materials readily available. This feature transforms how you approach building projects by eliminating the need to constantly switch between your inventory and the building area.

How Storage Works

Each wand has built-in storage that can hold multiple different block types. When you need to place blocks, the wand automatically uses materials from its storage first, then falls back to your inventory if needed.

Storage Capacity

Storage capacity varies by wand tier:

  • Basic Wands: 18 slots (2 rows)

  • Advanced Wands: 27 slots (3 rows)

  • Expert Wands: 54 slots (6 rows)

  • Creative Wands: 54 slots (6 rows)

Remember, storage capacity must be a multiple of 9 and between 9 and 54.

Storage Interface

Access the storage system through the wand's GUI by clicking the storage button. The interface looks similar to a chest inventory.

Adding Blocks to Storage

Manual Storage Management

  1. Open Storage: Click the storage button in the wand GUI

  2. Add Blocks: Place blocks from your inventory into the storage slots

  3. Organize: Arrange blocks in the order you prefer to use them

  4. Close Storage: The blocks are now available for wand use

Using Stored Blocks

Automatic Usage

When you use the wand to place blocks, it automatically:

  1. Checks Storage: Looks for the required block type in storage first

  2. Uses Stored Blocks: Consumes blocks from storage if available

  3. Falls Back to Inventory: Uses inventory blocks if storage is empty

Manual Block Selection

You can also manually select blocks from storage:

  1. Open Storage: Access the storage interface

  2. Select Block: Click on the block type you want to use

  3. Place Blocks: Use the wand normally - it will use the selected block type

Advanced Storage Features

Storage Persistence

Wand storage persists between server restarts, so you don't lose your organized materials.

Storage Sharing

Let's say you put 64 stone blocks in a wand's storage. Another player gets that wand, and it will still have the same 64 stone blocks stored in its storage.

Troubleshooting Storage Issues

Storage Won't Open

Check Permissions: Ensure you have permission to use the storage system

Verify Wand: Make sure you're holding a wand with storage enabled

Server Issues: Storage may be temporarily unavailable due to server problems

Storage Full

Remove Unused Blocks: Clear storage of materials you no longer need

Upgrade Wand: Consider upgrading to a wand with larger storage capacity

Organize Better: Use storage more efficiently by organizing materials better
